Rev. Dr. Nadene Rogers

Rev. Dr. Nadene Rogers received her first letter of call in 1998, was ordained in 2006, received her Honorary Doctorate in 2020 and was recipient of the Minister Meritorious Award in 2024.

As founding senior minister of the Calgary JOY of Life Centre, she retired from her pulpit in 2016.

She has served Centers for Spiritual Living as: Canadian Regional Youth Co-coordinator, trainer and curriculum writer, and chairing Canadian Winter Youth Seminars; Co-chair of the 2004 Ministers Conference in Austin Texas, as Music Director/workshop presenter for the 2005 Vancouver Ministers Conference; as a Presider, Power Talk and Workshop Presenter at Asilomar, our CSL summer conferences.

Dr. Nadene has chaired both the RSI ‘Golden Works’ and ‘Phoenix Bridge’ Committees, during which time she served as an Ministers and Practitioners Licencing Committee Member where she performed Minister Exit, Affiliation Interviews. Having sat on many Ordination and Affiliation Panels she continues to serve in this way and assist the onboarding of ministers into CSL’s Interim Ministry Program.

Dr. Nadene has served as Interim Minister in White Rock BC Canada in 2018 – 2019, Parker Colorado 2020 – 2021, Columbia Maryland 2021 – 2023, and in West Hawaii 2023 – 2024.

Her passion is to play outside the walls of conformity, raising public awareness of both the Science of Mind teaching and the value of inclusion. She has developed and hosted an international radio show and continues to forge collaborations to establish projects such as: The Shoe-In: NEW shoes for at-risk youth, and the Teens of Distinction Awards for inner achievement.

Something most folks would not know about Nadene is that she was a professional clown for 20 years and opened the first Clown School in Canada!

Dr. Nadene is known as a creative visionary, having a deeply intuitive, compassionate heart with pioneer courage, and is eager to serve in this new capacity, as Interim Spiritual Leader with Center for Spiritual Living SAN JOSÉ
