David Field, RScP

David and his wife first attended service at CSLSJ in 2012 and quickly fell in love with the CSLSJ community. He has been an enthusiastic participant ever since including service on many of the Center’s volunteer teams.

He was first appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2015 and has been an active or Emeritus member ever since, including multiple terms as Board Chair and leading the Under One Roof campaign in 2020 to re-roof and re-paint our beloved Center. He simultaneously pursued SoM classes and workshops culminating in becoming a Licensed Prayer Practitioner in 2023.

He retired from Stanford as a Development Project Manager in 2024. His earlier experience included roles as software marketing specialist, college instructor, research analyst, restaurant manager, mediator, and bartender. He enjoys gathering with friends and family, woodworking, and the view from mountain tops in addition to volunteering, reading, historical simulation games, and periodically exercising his mixology skills!
