Chair, Board of Trustees

Christopher-Grayson S. Diamond has his earliest memory as an infant at Center for Spiritual Living San Jose and feels privileged to have been raised in a community like this. As a teenager, his involvement expanded into the wider CSL movement through Youth Leadership, where he was elected by fellow youth delegates on four occasions to serve in regional and international leadership roles.

Chris continues to serve across the wider CSL movement, particularly in work focused on young adults, leadership, and the future of the organization. He has been involved with NextGEN, supporting young adult programming and leadership development, and currently serves on the CSL Member Council.

He earned a joint honors bachelor’s degree in Literature and Philosophy from Cardiff University, where he served on the Students’ Union Board of Trustees and Directors and was the sole recipient of the 2023 Guild of Societies Award in recognition of his dedicated service. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management at Bayes Business School, specializing in Philanthropy, Grantmaking, and Social Investment.

Chris now deeply appreciates the opportunity to serve the community that helped shape him while continuing to contribute to the broader CSL movement. Looking ahead, he intends to undertake Practitioner Studies and, when the call grows loud enough to stop politely knocking and start waving from across the field, continue on to Ministerial School.
