Compassionate Care at the Center
There are many ways that the Compassionate Care team is here for you.
First and foremost, we are here with prayer and spiritual support in times of extraordinary change – such as illness, injury, hospitalization, medical treatments – and in times of the loss of a loved one or a special pet. Compassionate Care team members may also support you with visits in the hospital.
For more information on types of support that may be available to you, please contact the Compassionate Care coordinator at CompassionateCare[at]CSLSJ.org.
Our Animal Connection Team has a very active Facebook presence where you will find ideas for pet adoption and care, great photos and local meet-ups for animal lovers are shared. The Team also hosts the Annual Animal Blessing for you and your pets (and sometimes ponies!) to receive the blessings and love that are a part of our spiritual tradition.
Find out about the many different ways to become part of the Animal Connections team by visiting our Animal Connection Page for more information.
The Rites of Passage Team creates ceremonies of all kinds: Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies, Ceremonies of Blessing and Remembrance to honor the passing of your loved one, and special ceremonies during the year to honor youth and our elders. This very active ministry provides you with full support to create the ceremony, host a reception, provide facility and technical guidance for your very personal Service. Complete the request form below and Rev. Maureen Ross, Coordinator of the Rites of Passage team will respond to your specific question or request.
We also honor the tender times, times when compassion supports us through the loss and grief of our beloveds. Rev. Toni Cormier offers Grief Revelations support groups during the year. For more information, please contact Rev. Toni at: ToniCormier [at] cslsj.org.
