JUNE OUTREACH: LIFTING ABUNDANCE TO SAN JOSE’S LGBTQ HOMELESS YOUTH

LifeMoves operates a shelter to provide transitional housing for LGBTQ homeless youth.
● Lesbian, gay and bisexual adults are more likely to live below 200% of the federal poverty line than heterosexual adults
● Homelessness: In Santa Clara County, LGBTQ individuals comprise 29% of homeless youth and young adults under the age of 25 and 10% of homeless adults ages 25 and older.

The shelter is in need of NEW basic work clothing of various sizes:
a. New Black Polo shirts, plain all sizes all genders
b. New Black Pants for work all sizes all genders
c. New Jeans for work all sizes all genders
Donations will help LGBTQ youth have work clothes as they move from transitional to permanent housing.
